TVS Scooty Zest to be launched in early 2014

The Jupiter 110 is not the only automatic scooter that might help TVS Motors regain the lead it once enjoyed in the automatic scooter segment of our bike market. Coming up next from TVS Motors would be a new variant in the Scooty range of female specific automatic scooters. This new automatic scooter would be called as the Zest and is likely to be launched in early 2014.

While not much is known about the upcoming Scooty variant, it is expected that the scooter would sport a new look and will come with some new features that would add more value to the next model in Scooty line up. Mechanically, the scooter is expected to remain the same as other variants. The Zest could also become the new flagship variant in the Scooty range.

With the addition of the TVS Scooty Zest, Hosur based Indian bike maker would have a really wide range of scooters in its product portfolio. The recently launched Jupiter scooter seems to be promising enough to eat into the sales of the very popular Honda Activa and the upcoming Scooty Zest would complete the TVS line up of automatic scooters by targeting the Activa-i/Dio.

Thanks to the launch of Jupiter, the two wheeler manufacturer now has a model that caters to almost every segment of the ever expanding automatic scooter market of our country. While the Scooty Pep range, which has been bought in good numbers by female scooter buyers in most parts of the country, targets the entry level segment, the Wego’s unisex design has been loved by young college goers and young families. The Jupiter has been launched to suit the tastes of grown up men. With the addition of the Scooty Zest, TVS would probably have a pretty formidable line up of automatic scooters.
