Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) launched the New Platinum Etios and New Etios Liva. With this launch, Toyota is said to become the first in the industry to standardize Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) across all models & in all grades. New ISOFIX child seat locks for all models & all grades has been added to ensure safety of children.
Cosmetic upgrades on the new Etios siblings include an all new front and rear bumper, new front grille, fog lamp bezel, new alloy wheels (for Liva) and new rear chrome garnish with reflectors (for Etios). On the inside, the model comes equipped with new dual tone instrument panel (black and ivory), seat fabric-ivory, optitron combimeter, foldable rear seats and a new foldable rear arm rest (for Etios).
New safety features include ABS, EBD, dual front airbags and dual ISOFIX child seat locks as standard across the model range. Also on offer would be all 5 Seats with 3 point ELR (Emergency Locking Retractor) seatbelts with pre-tensioner and force limiter (PTFL) for front seats.

The new Platinum Etios comes with a price tag starting at INR 6,43,000 to Rs. 7,83,000 for the petrol variants and INR 7,56,000 to INR 8,96,000 for the diesel variants. (Ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The new Liva comes with a price tag of INR 5,24,000 to INR 6,28,000 for the petrol variants and INR 6,61,000 to INR 7,44,000 for the diesel variants. (Ex-showroom, Mumbai).
