Some time back, we reported Tata Nano heading to Nepal. We also talked in detail about the high import duties that are levied at the neighboring nation. Now, Tata CVs have been doing duty in Nepal since last few decades but the launch of Nano saw Tata getting serious about the passenger car market in Nepal.
Recently, Tata launched the Indica Vista in Nepal. The car should be seen competing with bare basic sedans in terms of features, cabin space and engine options. Again, all due to the aforementioned import duty on CBU imports, the Vista starts retailing at INR 11.86 lakhs for base model and goes all the way to Rs.16.5 lakh rupees. Yeah! Does sounds funny and we cant help but LOL!
Looks like the Nissan Murano
