Suzuki Motorcycles India today launched a new special variant of its Access 125 automatic scooter. The new special variant has been christened as the Suzuki Access 125 Special Edition and the new scooter is being endorsed  by ‘Being Human’.

The new Suzuki Access Special Edition comes with five new features. These features are purely cosmetic in nature and have been included to differentiate the Special Edition from regular variants.

The new Suzuki Access Special Edition gets some chrome garnishing on the grab rail and the rear view mirrors, a tanned faux leather seat cover, ‘Being Human’ front emblem and an ‘Apna Way Of Life’ stickers on the side. The Special Edition is available only in one color- Pearl Mirage White.

Suzuki has set a sales target of 40,000 units for the new Access Special Edition and the scooter goes on sale for a price of INR 58,975 (on-road Mumbai). This means that the Special Edition is more than 1000 rupees pricier than the regular variant.

Mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged, which means that powering the Special Edition is the same 124cc engine which powers the regular models. This engine has a max power of 8.58hp and peak torque of 1.0kgm.

A part of the profits that Suzuki will earn from the sales of Suzuki Access Special Edition will be used for educating the underprivileged and towards conducting cataract operations and heart surgeries. Definitely a noble idea, we say.
