Refreshed Suzuki Splash aka Maruti Ritz goes on sale in Japanese market

Motoroids became one of the first to report about Maruti working on a mid life facelift for its Ritz hatchback. Only sometime after we got the A star facelift, Maruti Suzuki Ritz aka Splash aka Opel Agila (phew!) got a dosage of some freshness injected into it. Now, the recent news is that the Splash refresh has gone on sale in Japanese market.

The Ritz has been in our market for three years now and with the Swift having received a complete model replacement recently, it was about time that the Ritz got a liberal dosage of botox. From what we can make out from the images, the car sports a fresh front fascia with a new version of the slightly Bulgarian beard and new fog lamp surrounds. The front bumper too is all new and has some similarity with the all new Swift Dzire. This is not all as the interiors too will be seen sporting some minor changes.

Key features-

Anti lock Brake System

Front Dual Airbags

Integrated Audio System with USB, Aux, iPod connectivity, FM and MP3 CD player

Steering Mounted Audio controls

13 inch alloy wheels

Climate control

There is no news on the launch of the refreshed Ritz but we expect the car to come to our market next month.
