Nissan India to increase prices across its range from January 2015

Nissan India today announced a price increase across its Nissan and Datsun range of vehicles on sale in India effective January 1, 2015.The prices of Nissan products will be increased upto 2.5% and Datsun, upto 3%. This translates into an increase of up to INR 11,000 on Datsun cars and up to INR 18,000 on Nissan range of vehicles. Nissan currently offers the Micra Active, Micra, Sunny, Evalia and the Terrano in India, and Datsun offers the Datsun GO.

Mr. Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd said, “We have increased prices due to rising input costs, although we are confident Nissan and Datsun vehicles will continue to offer excellent value and choice to our customers. Despite recent high inflation, the outlook for the Indian economy is positive.”
