Moscow Motor Shows starts; no sign of Skoda Felicia

We told a few weeks back that a Slovakian website is claiming that the Skoda Octavia replacement (most likely the Skoda Felicia) was going to be shown at the 2010 Moscow Motor Show. Well, the show got underway yesterday and displayed the ‘economical’ 2012 Hyundai Verna which will come here. However, what we expected to see at the Skoda exhibit just wasn’t there. All that the Czech carmaker had on display was the Superb, the Roomster, the Yeti, the Fabia Scout and the Fabia RS (pictured above). Don’t lose heart though, since Skoda India has already confirmed the Felicia for India by 2011. Now, will they also bring in the Fabia RS here with the same 1.6-litre engine that powers the Polo and the Vento? We are keeping our finders crossed…
