It was way back in August last year, when TeamBHP published these handful of pics, stating that it is none other than the highly anticipated KTM RC 200. Back then, we, along with many others, had a doubt on the identity of this KTM model. As it turns out, the good chaps at TBHP have ammended their post, stating that the bike spotted is indeed the KTM RC 390 and the 200cc sibling, as was being claimed earlier. With this, it becomes all the more clear that the KTM RC 390 India launch is around the corner and to be frank, we just can’t wait to get our hands on this faired Austrian bike, and take her out for a spin in the mountains!
The KTM RC 390 test mule you see here was spotted in Pune, which is basically the home to Bajaj Auto Ltd, the producers of KTM motorcycles in India.

Basically, the KTM RC 390 is a faired 390 Duke, albeit with revised tuning and ergonomics. It is highly likely that the India spec KTM RC390 will have a max power output of 43 Bhp and will boast of segment leading power to weight ratio. Along with having a fairing-mounted windshield, the bike will also boast of bits like clip-on handlebars and split seats. The fairing will house a set of twin headlamps.

It is being said that when compared to the 390 Duke, the RC variant could sport a stiffer suspensio setup, which will aid handling and bestow the bike with better track manners. KTM RC 390 India launch is expected to happen around the same time as KTM RC 200 India launch and both the bikes will spearhead the entry of famous Austrian bike maker in a new segment of Indian two wheelers market.

mirror integrated blinkers are there, look closely you’ll find them.
If you don’t then i might tell you that its a camoflouged bike…and blinkers r hidden. Lol !
KTM showcased that rc series gonna have mirror integrated blinkers.but I think we are missing that on this indian version….
