Mercedes-Benz India is embarking on a world tour with its ‘Made in India’ GLA 200 CDI. Christened as the ‘Great overLand Adventure (GLA), the India made GLA will be rolled out of Mercedes-Benz India’s Pune production plant and will be traversing across six continents, seventeen countries and clocking more than 50,000 kms, before returning to Pune after six months.
For the ‘Great overLand Adventure’, Mercedes-Benz India will be partnering with the NDTV network. The journey which will be flagged-off in the middle of July from Mercedes-Benz India production plant in Pune, will traverse across varying geographies and travel through Europe, Northern and South Africa, North and South America, Australia and Asia. Mercedes-Benz India started the local assembly of the GLA in June 2015.
