Maruti Suzuki has displayed a range of custom cars at the  Auto Expo 2014. The Swift Volt seen here is displayed to gain feedback from customers, and if liked by the masses, the company will be launching a limited edition inspired by the Swift Volt seen here.

The roof of the new Swift Volt comes painted in red. The racing seats too come draped in the same shade of red. The car gets white-black dual paint job. The Swift Volt sports a spoiler and black alloys. The highlight of the car are the dual exhausts which are neatly integrated into the bumper.

Coming to the frontal section, the Swift Volt houses projector headlights in the smoked headlamp housings. The grill section is painted in black and the car sports the usual VVT badging on the fenders, indicating that this special variant is based on the petrol-powered model.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd hasn’t revealed any specifications of the Swift Volt. However, as we said above, the car could be based on the petrol variant, which is propelled by a 1.2 litre K12B four pot petrol engine.

We feel that Maruti should go ahead with launching the Swift Volt, minus the dramatic paint job of course. What do you say? Do you feel the same? Do let us know by sharing your thoughts in the comments section below.

His ultimate fantasy is to drive a Chevy Corvette on the German Autobahns and a racetrack.
