All you need to know about upcoming Ford EcoSport. June 26 launch

Yesterday, we reported that the hotly anticipated Ford EcoSport will be launched in India on 26th this month. This means that the car is less than a week away from its launch and we are excited about the fact that one of the longest ever wait for the launch of a car is finally close to coming to an end.
Bookings for the upcoming compact crossover are already on and Ford India dealerships across the country have started receiving the first batch of cars.

Ford India has so far refrained from publicizing the prices but recently, Sumit, one of our readers from Delhi informed us that he has managed to get a fair idea of prices from his sources at the Delhi dealership. If these prices are anything close to the real deal, it is almost for sure that Ford India has got a winner in its hands. It seems like the heavy localization levels have really helped the Indian subsidiary of Ford with pricing the car ultra competitively.

As per the list that Sumit has obtained from his friends at the Delhi dealership, ex-showroom (Delhi) prices for Ford EcoSport would start at INR 6.5 lakhs and would be as follows-

1.5 Petrol variant

• 1.5 Petrol Ambiente – 6.5 L
• 1.5 Petrol Trend – 7 L
• 1.5 Petrol Titanium Manual Transmission – 7.5 L
• 1.5 Petrol Titanium Automatic Transmission – 8.5 L

1.0 Petrol variant

• 1.0 Petrol Titanium Manual Transmission – 9.0 L
• 1.0 Petrol Titanium + Option – 9.75 L

1.5 Diesel variant

• 1.5 Diesel Ambiente – 8.5 L
• 1.5 Diesel Trend – 9 L
• 1.5 Diesel Titanium 9.5 L
• 1.5 Diesel Titanium + Option – 10 L
