The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 was previewed at a live concert in Chandigarh, partly revealing the much awaited budget hatchback, a replacement for the ageing, last generation Alto K10- the sprightly little hatchback that enthusiasts had gotten a little fond of.
The new K10 will borrow the Alto 800’s body-shell, albeit with some significant styling revisions like a new front fascia with fresh bumpers, headlamps and a bigger grille running a thick chrome lip. At the back, there’ll be re-tweaked tail lamp clusters. The car will also benefit from beefier rubber and bigger wheels as compared to the puny ones on the Alto800.
Apart from that, the new Alto K10 will be launched in CNG fueled variants as well as AMT transmission equipped variants. So, it will be the only car from MSIL that will available in Petrol , CNG & AMT when it gets launched. Expect the same 998cc, K10B to do duty under the hood whipping up 67 bhp @ 6200 RPM of power and 90 Nm @ 3500 RPM or torque.
