A chrome applique on the tail gate with Ertiga lettering embossed on it bridges the tail lamps, which are unaltered. Additional reflectors flank the applique, to visually enhance the people mover’s width. There’s also a newly designed rear bumper, and new alloy wheels (below).

The insides will now be equipped with keyless entry, start/stop button, electric folding mirrors, and Maruti’s SmartPlay infotainment system. Also on the offing will include a new, chrome ringed instrument cluster, along with steering wheel mounted controls.

Currently, Maruti sells the Ertiga with petrol, diesel and CNG engine options. Powering the petrol variant is a 1.4 liter K-series engine and the diesel variant draws power from the 1.3 liter MJD mill. Both use a 5 speed manual transmission. The facelifted MPV will soldier on with the aforementioned drive-trains, with slightly revised fuel economy figures.
