Ultraviolette F77 Rival Orxa Mantis’ Production to Commence Soon

Bengaluru-based electric vehicle start-up, Orxa Energies has established a new manufacturing facility in the city. The manufacturer has geared up for the launch of the new electric motorcycle known as Matis. The new manufacturing plant will be utilized for production of Matis which is slated for its launch later this year.

About Orxa Energies’ new manufacturing plant

Orxa Energies has established a new manufacturing plant in the Bommasandra Industrial area, Bengaluru. This plant has spread across an area of 1 acre and is constructed for the purpose of research and development. Furthermore, this plant also has a 2-wheeler assembly station, battery assembly lines, and a product testing center. The company claims that this plant is bigger in area with 10 times more production capacity than its predecessor.

With the new manufacturing plant, Orxa Energies will have a joint R&D and production facility. This will assist Orxa in completely utilizing its in-house engineering talent for improving vehicular technology. Moreover, the company will improve its production and assembly techniques for its upcoming electric 2-wheelers. The facility also has charging stations, EcoSTP, and its own vehicle test track which is made up of recycled plastic.

About the upcoming Orxa Mantis E-Motorcycle

Orxa Mantis is an exciting electric motorcycle set to make its debut in the Indian market. It is poised to be a strong competitor against the popular Ultraviolette F77. The Orxa Mantis will feature a cutting-edge liquid-cooled electric motor, delivering powerful performance. Its fixed 9kWh battery pack ensures a reliable and consistent power supply, making it an attractive option for electric bike enthusiasts.

This translates to a commendable power output of 37.5 horsepower and an expected range of up to 200 kilometers on a single charge. It’s worth noting that the prototype of this electric motorcycle originally featured a detachable battery pack. However, for the production version, the manufacturer has decided to opt for a fixed unit. The manufacturer will soon reveal the final specs and details about this bike.

Speaking of the launch of the new facility, Dr. Prajwal Sabnis, Co-Founder of Orxa Energies said, “The substantial investments made towards building this facility reinforce our journey towards preparing the Mantis and other Orxa offerings for demanding customers. Over the years we have been actively improving our product offerings, making the Mantis an equivalent to the best-in-class ICE motorcycle.”
