It has emerged that Toyota might be planning to endow its Rush compact SUV with a facelift for Indonesian market. The Toyota Rush is also known as the Daihatsu Terios, the last generation of which is related to the Premier Rio compact SUV that is on sale in India.
Toyota might be planning to bestow its mini SUV with a TRD Sportivo kit. The Toyota Rush is powered by a 1.5-liter, 109 PS, petrol engine which comes mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed auto gearbox.
In Indonesia, the Rush is sold in a 7-seat layout also. However, this version comes with a Daihatsu badge and is called as the Terios Advantage. This version has an enhanced wheelbase to accommodate the extra row of seats at the back.
Unfortunately, Toyota has no plans to launch the Rush in fast emerging Indian car market.
