Moving forward with its iCNG technology, Tata Motors has added a new trim to the Tigor iCNG lineup. The new Tigor XM iCNG variant has been launched with a price tag of ₹ 7,39,900 (ex-showroom price, Delhi). The Tigor iCNG trim was launched earlier this year in the top-spec XZ variant. The new XM trim is around ₹50000 cheaper than the XZ trim making the Tigor iCNG more accessible for the masses.

The iCNG technology of Tata Motors has already received a great response from the customers for its Tigor and Tiago models. The company defines the iCNG technology with 4 components,” ‘Incredible’ performance, ‘Iconic’ safety, ‘Intelligent’ technology and ‘Impressive’ features”. The new Tigor XM iCNG variant will be equipped with HarmanTM Infotainment System with a 4 speaker system, power windows, central locking, and rear parking sensors. This new trim will be available in four colour options namely, Opal White, Daytona Grey, Arizona Blue, and Deep Red.
With the new iCNG trims, Tigor has become the first and only Sedan in India to offer petrol, CNG, and electric variants that too in both manual and automatic transmission options. With this many options to choose from Tigor, has also claimed its place as the second largest selling sedan in India with 21% of the total market in its segment. The Tiago iCNG is powered by a 1.2L Bi-Fuel, 3-Cylinder, Revotron engine. This engine puts out a class-leading 73.4PS of power and 95Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-Speed manual transmission and there is no automatic gearbox on offer.
