The Tata Punch EV gives customers two battery pack options – a 25kWh variant and a more robust 35kWh variant. These options, likely to be named Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR), follow Tata’s established EV lineup seen in models like the Nexon EV and Tiago EV.

Built on the ALFA platform with Tata’s Gen 2 EV architecture, the Punch EV undergoes a seamless ICE to EV conversion. It boasts a liquid-cooled battery and a front-wheel-powered permanent magnet synchronous motor, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
