Tata Motors Group global sales clocked 75,623 vehicles in June 2014

Car manufacturers around the world are reporting positive sales numbers. From luxury car makers to mass producers, majority of the companies are reporting healthy sales figures for the half-year and for the month of June. The latest to report its numbers is Tata Motors. However, the company witnessed 10.46 percent fall in sales.

Tata Motors Group global sales, including Jaguar Land Rover, came up to 75,623 vehicles in June 2014. The cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were at 228,309 vehicles.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range – came up to 31,384 vehicles whereas cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal stood at 87,684 vehicles. Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in June 2014 were 44,239 while cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 140,625 vehicles.

As we reported earlier, Jaguar Land Rover recorded strongest half year sales this year.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the month were 36,021 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 7,032 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 19,584 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 28,989 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 95,572 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 115,156 vehicles.
