We reported in detail when it emerged that BMW is busy with the development of the 1 series sedan. The new Bimmer will replace the 3 series as the new entry level BMW sedan. As we have been reporting, Mercedes too has been busy working on the upcoming CLA sedan that will compete with the 1 series sedan from the Bavarian auto manufacturer and now, spyshots of uncamouflaged CLA sedan being tested have surfaced on the cyber world.
The CLA sedan is based on the new MFA platform that has been employed in the new A and B Class cars. The CLA sedan can be seen sporting a coupe like roof line and will come with a 4MATIC all-wheel drive mechanism that will be coupled with the same power options that are available on the A and B class. The CLA AMG sedan will sport a 2.0-liter turbocharged motor that will pump out a very healthy 335 bhp. The Mercedes CLA sedan will debut next year with a price tag of about INR 20 lakhs.
