It seems like Nissan’s knowledge of autonomous driving technology has trickled down to partner Renault, which doesn’t really come across as a surprise.

The European manufacturer recently picked up a Fluence ZE all-electric sedan and made it compatible with PAMU self driving technology.

PAMU is basically an abbreviation for Advanced Urban Mobility Platform and seems to be similar in operation to Volvo’s valet service on the V40.

The working of PAMU can be seen in the above video.

This video surely hints at Renault’s future plans of venturing into self-driving technolgy.
