Booking Breakdown and Customer Preferences
The XEV 9e accounted for 56% of the bookings, while the BE 6 comprised the remaining 44%. Notably, 73% of customers opted for the top-tier Pack Three variant, which features a 79 kWh battery pack. This trend indicates a strong consumer inclination towards higher-end models equipped with advanced features and extended range capabilities.

Delivery Timeline
Mahindra plans to commence deliveries in a phased manner starting from mid-March 2025 for the Pack Three variant. Subsequent variants, including Pack Two and Pack One, are scheduled for delivery between June and August 2025. The company is committed to providing a transparent delivery process, with customers set to receive tentative timelines within the next three weeks.
Vehicle Specifications
Both the XEV 9e and BE 6 are built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform and offer two battery options: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh pack. The 79 kWh variant delivers a claimed range of up to 682 km on a single charge. Performance-wise, these electric SUVs can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 6.7 seconds. Charging capabilities include support for 175 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 20-80% charge in just 20 minutes.
Interior and Features
The XEV 9e boasts a spacious interior with a 665-litre boot and a 150-litre front trunk. It features a unique three-screen setup, each measuring 12.3 inches, running Mahindra’s Adrenox software. Additional amenities include a panoramic sunroof, a 1,400W 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) offering Level 2 autonomy.
The BE 6, on the other hand, offers a dual integrated screen setup combining two 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and instrumentation. It also includes features like multi-zone AC, dual wireless phone chargers, and a fixed glass roof with ambient lighting patterns. Safety is enhanced with up to seven airbags and Level 2 ADAS technology.
