Mahindra has reduced the prices of select variants from the XUV700 lineup. These variants include AX5 5S MT, AX5 7S MT, AX7 MT, AX5 5S AT, and AX7 AT in the petrol guise and AX5 5S MT, AX5 7S MT, AX7 7S MT, AX5 5S AT, AX5 7S AT, AX7 AT, and the AX7 AWD AT in the diesel guise. The prices have been reduced by ₹6000. Though Mahindra hasn’t given a reason for the price cut, reports suggest that it could be due to the deletion of sequential turn indicators from the model.

Customers will be able to unlock this feature by visiting any of Mahindra’s service centers throughout the country. With these features, customers will also get access to functions such as enhanced Siri support, CarPlay navigation rendering on the cluster, and more. The XUV 700 is reaching a wide range of customers with its style and features, the company has recently announced hitting 1.5 lakh bookings with this new SUV. The Mahindra XUV700 is also the second Mahindra to get Global NCAP’s Safer Choice award by scoring 5 stars in adult occupant protection and 4-star for child occupant protection.
The XUV700 offers two engine choices and both are available in a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The first engine is a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged Mstallion petrol engine which produces 200 hp and 380 nm of torque. The next engine is the 2.2-liter 4-cylinder Mhawk diesel engine. The diesel engine gets two states of tune. The first is 155 hp and 360 nm of torque for lower variants. The higher state of tune is 185 hp and 420 nm of torque for higher variants. The diesel automatic variant gets a higher torque output of 450nm.
The interior of XUV700 features two 10.25 HD screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, air purifier, wireless charging, wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, AdrenoX infotainment system with 60+ connected car features, 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, electronic parking brake, 12 speakers 3D sound system by Sony, smart door handles and electronic parking brake
