Jeep has hiked the prices of the Compass SUV by ₹90000. The Compass range is now priced between ₹19.29 lakh for the Sport petrol manual variant going all the way up to ₹32.22 lakh for the Trailhawk variant. Other than this, Jeep has also discontinued the Longitude (O) variant which was positioned between the Sport and Limited(O) variants. Jeep recently celebrated the 5th anniversary of the Compass by launching the 5th Anniversary edition.

The 5th Anniversary edition is based on the popular Limited(O) trim and it gets some cosmetic changes. This new variant is expected to have a limited run just like the previous special editions of the Compass. The new Compass 5th-anniversary edition is similar to the 80th-anniversary edition which was launched last year along with the facelift. The new features offered are as follows:
- 18-inch alloy wheels with Granite Crystal finish
- 5th Anniversary commemorative badge
- Leather seats with Light Tungsten accent stitching
- Automatic dimming rearview interior mirror
- Piano Black and Anodized Gun Metal interior accents, black headliner
- Outside mirrors with neutral gray accent badging and new gloss black grille with neutral grey ring
- Body color/satin granite crystal lower front fascia with Body-color fender flares
- Black daylight opening moldings, body-colored sill molding & claddings
- Accent color roof rails

Other than this, the Compass 5th anniversary edition offers features like a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, electrically folding mirrors, LED headlights and taillights, a reverse parking camera, a panoramic sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, a powered liftgate, and a powered driver seat with memory settings.

It also comes with safety features such as Hill Start Assist, 6 airbags, All-Speed Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Electronic Parking Brake with auto-hold. The Compass 5th anniversary edition is offered with two engine options. The 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine dishes out 161hp and 250nm of torque. It comes mated to a 7-speed DCT. The other engine is a 2-liter diesel engine that produces 170hp and 350nm of torque. It can either be had with a 6-speed manual transmission with 4×2 or a 9-speed automatic with 4×4.
