New Hyundai Tucson spied on test abroad with heavy camouflage!

In Europe, spotters have captured the upcoming Hyundai Tucson undergoing rigorous testing while being heavily camouflaged. This follows the successful launch of the current-generation Tucson in India last year, which received positive feedback from customers seeking a full-size crossover. The Tucson name carries an aura of luxury and exceptional quality that is difficult to find at its price point. Positioned below the Volkswagen Tiguan in terms of pricing, Tucson offers a wide array of features that surpass its competitors.

The details are fuzzy and we don’t know much about the facelift. However we expect to see styling changes, a few added features, and better technology. The tech world moves fast and things get outdated pretty quickly. The rest of the car is expected to stay close to the current-gen outgoing model, especially the mechanicals, engine options, transmission, and specifications.

Heavy camouflage makes things hard to spot. But we can see a more adventurous grille. The rest of the front end is covered, but we can see a new bumper and evolutionary lighting units.

It is expected to launch sometime in 2025 for American Market.

About the current Hyundai Tucson

The current-generation Tucson provides two engine options: a 2-liter diesel (186PS/416Nm) and a 2-liter petrol unit (156PS/192Nm). Both engines come with a torque-converter automatic gearbox. The diesel variant comes equipped with an eight-speed transmission, while the petrol variant features a six-speed transmission. All-wheel drive (AWD) can also be added to the top-end diesel engines.

Hyundai’s flagship SUV boasts a range of premium amenities, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, a 10.25-inch driver’s display, connected car technology with remote operation, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control. It also offers powered, heated, and ventilated front seats, along with wireless phone charging.

In terms of safety, the Tucson includes six airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill hold/descent control, all-wheel disc brakes, and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). The ADAS technology encompasses blind-spot monitoring and collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist, and lane-keep assist.
