How to generate K-Code to book the new 2023 Kia Seltos?
Kia Motors will start the pre-launch bookings of the 2023 Seltos facelift on the 14th of July 2023. While Kia will ensure priority delivery with K-Code, interested buyers can make unofficial bookings at the nearest dealership. The token amount for the unofficial booking of the new Kia Seltos is Rs. 25,000 at the dealership.
However, one is eligible to generate K-Code by reaching out to the existing Kia Seltos owners. The generated K-Code will be applicable only for the duration from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM on the 14th of July 2023. The users can generate their K-Code for the Seltos facelift from the 4th to the 14th of July 2023.
Below are the steps to generate the K-Code for booking the Kia Seltos Facelift:
- Contact the existing Kia Seltos owner and get their registration number or VIN number.
- Go to the Kia official website or My Kia App, and select the ‘generate K-Code’ option.
- Fill up the details of the vehicle.
- Get the Kia K-Code number on the owner’s registered mobile number.
- Keep the K-Code Safe. Remember that this K-Code can be used only once.
- Pre-book the new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift by using generated K-Code. Remember, you can book the vehicle between 12 AM to 11:59 PM on the 14th of July 2023.
About Kia Seltos facelift
Kia Seltos is a compact SUV that is based on the k2 platform. The K2 platform shares its underpinnings with Kia siblings such as Carens and Sonet. In terms of design, the new Kia Seltos Facelift gets a refreshed new fascia with sharper elements. Outside, the facelift includes new features such as a new grille, a new bumper with skid plates, stylish new alloys, LED taillights with a light bar, and a new rear bumper with reflectors.
Inside, the new Seltos gets a new dashboard with a twin-screen layout of 10.25 inches for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The features list includes ADAS, Air Purifier, a new Automatic AC Unit, a panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display, ventilated seats, electric driver seat adjustment, Bose sound system, etc.
Powertrain Options, Pricing, and the Competition
At the heart of the matter of the new Kia Seltos is the new 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged T-GDi petrol engine. This engine produces 160hp and 253nm of output. Meanwhile, Kia will also provide the 1.5L VTVT petrol and CRDi diesel engines. While the VTVT makes 114hp and 144nm, the CRDi diesel churns out 114hp and 250nm of output. The new Kia Seltos facelift is available with the options of a 6-speed manual, CVT, DCT, IMT, and 6-Speed Automatic Transmission.
