Harley Davidson has finalised its first five dealers for India. The dealerships will be setup in New Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The manufacture had formally made an announcement seeking dealership applications from interested parties in October 2009. Over a 100 applications were received by Harley Davidson from dealers across India. The appointed dealers will retail only Harley Davidson motorcycles along with spares, accessories and clothing apparel apart from operating authorized service centres.
Speaking to the media on the occassion, Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson India, said that Each owner brings distinct talents and a shared passion for delivering extraordinary customer experiences. He also revealed that their aim is to create a strong network that will provide customers a world-class Harley-Davidson ownership experience.
The five new dealerships are as follows:
- Capital Harley-Davidson in New Delhi
- Himalayan Harley-Davidson in Chandigarh
- Seven Islands Harley-Davidson in Mumbai
- Tusker Harley-Davidson in Bengaluru
- Banjara Harley-Davidson in Hyderabad
