DICV Revolutionizes Excellence in BharatBenz Sales and Service Network

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV) is charting new territories within its BharatBenz sales and service network.

The recent inauguration of two cutting-edge BharatBenz Regional Training Centers (RTC) in Haryana and Maharashtra signifies a significant leap in the commitment to excellence.

Expanding Horizons

In collaboration with dealer partners Dhingra Trucking and Autobahn Trucking, DICV has unveiled two state-of-the-art RTCs in Dharuhera (Haryana) and Pune (Maharashtra).

These additions complement existing centers in Chennai and Odisha, strategically positioned for proximity to authorized dealerships and service centers. The focus is clear: upskilling and reskilling over 3500 drivers, sales, and service personnel annually.

Facilities Geared for Excellence

The Dharuhera RTC, developed in partnership with Dhingra Trucking, sprawls across 6,600 sq. ft., while the Autobahn Trucking-backed Pune center covers 7,800 sq. ft. Both boast a capacity for 60 trainees simultaneously, armed with dedicated trainers, 500+ tools, and two BS6 vehicles featuring 10 truck and bus aggregates. This setup ensures a thorough understanding of DICV vehicles and their components.

National Skills Contest

To further refine skills and competence, DICV orchestrates the BharatBenz National Skills Contest. This real-time evaluation focuses on dealership sales and service teams, gauging knowledge, mindset, skills, and tools to enhance customer experience. The impact of the contest extends to initiatives like ‘BharatBenz Rakshana,’ designed for swift service, ensuring BharatBenz trucks are back on the road promptly.

Impressive Participation and Industry Benchmarks

The recently concluded BharatBenz National Skill Contest 2023 achieved a remarkable 99% participation rate, involving 3400+ participants, including 750+ sales executives and 2650+ service executives. This not only sets new benchmarks in the industry but reinforces the commitment to cross-learning and innovation.

Digitalization Initiatives

Mr. Sreeram Venkateswaran, President & Chief Business Officer, highlights the synergy between physical and digital initiatives. While the Regional Training Centers provide hands-on training, the National Skills Contest, complemented by digitalization initiatives like the Simulated Driver Trainer (SDT) and e-learning modules, modernizes truck and bus driving techniques, promoting safety and efficiency.

Service Excellence for Customers

BharatBenz’s commitment to service excellence extends beyond training initiatives. Programs like Rakshana, BharatBenz Exchange, and BharatBenz Certified underscore this commitment. Rakshana ensures service and repair jobs are completed within 48 hours at authorized service centers. The Exchange program offers customers a new BharatBenz truck in exchange for a used truck of any other brand. BharatBenz Certified refurbishes and retails pre-owned BharatBenz trucks, extending their lifecycle.

Extensive Network Coverage Across India

With over 330+ outlets covering key national highways, including the Golden Quadrilateral, BharatBenz ensures assistance within 2 hours for customers on these routes. This extensive network solidifies the brand’s commitment to accessibility, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
