I know of some people who have always wondered why we don’t have the BMW M7. Now, the Audi A8 offers you an option of having a W12 engine and we have AMG for those who want a S Class on steroids. However, the only option for having the flagship Bimmer sedan with supercar rivaling performance is to go for the Alpina B7 or the unofficial M7 as it is popularly known as.
Regulars here might remember that we reported in detail when it emerged that BMW M division is considering a M version of the 7-Series.
Now, the recent development on this is that the M version of the BMW 7-series sedan will be introduced to the world in 2015. The car will be powered by a 500bhp supercharged 4.0 liter V8 motor and will come with a lot of ‘aero’ bits and slightly different styling. The car will be named as BMW 770i and will make use of lightweight materials like aluminium for construction. .The 770i will also have ceramic disc brakes, performance exhaust system with four end pipes and lightweight 20 inch alloy wheels. All this will mean that the M7 will be about 200kgs lighter than the current 7 series sedan.

What I want is a V8 with 480 bhp and power delivered to all 4 wheels. Of course with Alluminium chasis and Carbon fiber you can control weight issues and cost issues and fuel efficiency issues.
The need for power here has just began to start creeping in. People are just startin to understand what turbochargers and superchargers do. But for me the raw, blunt, all-out assault to the senses can be felt only with the turbo-chargers droolin in. But with this emission shit and competition from rivals, even I think that weight and fuel efficiency would be the epic-centre. Lets see what this M7 is upto.

Well bro this is a stupid world which only knows numbers, the bigger they are the better..
Now ask urself if u are offered a M5 for a crore with 560 horses and a M7 for a 30-40 lakh more and just 500 horses would you even think about the M7..? People in Europe and US go for the the M series cars for performance and they would not like it, here though many just go for the name and bragging opportunity of having an expensive car (i think has more importance) so wont matter much..
And about the weight no matter what they do it will be on the heavier side of the M5 as it will be longer, wider etc and will have even more number of gizmos..
