We believe that we can proudly claim that we reported in great detail when the new 2014 Mercedes Benz S Class was unveiled by the popular German premium car maker. The new S Class, which also replaces the Maybach ultra luxury sedan, is being touted as the best S Class ever and comes loaded to us with class leading safety features and creature comforts.
While we are only glad about the arrival of the new S Class, the new car from Mercedes is surely something to worry about for the rival car makers. It may be noted that the 7 Series flagship sedan from BMW got updated last year and hence, Bimmer fans have no option but to wait for the next gen 7’er, which is expected to arrive in 2015. As for the Audi A8, the VW Group owned luxury car maker is busy readying a comprehensively updated model of its flagship that will be launched in coming months.
Seen here is an Audi A8 facelift test mule that was spotted in France. The A8 facelift is expected to get new headlights, new taillights and a revised set of bumpers. On the inside, the car is expected to get an updated MMI system, along with an upholstery change and more equipment. The car is expected to make its public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show that will be held in September. Safely expect 2014 Audi A8 facelift to be here an year after its public debut.
