What you see here is the next project by Brabus, the well-known German tuner on transforming a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG into a regal monster. So while the expected performance figures are supercar-like, the modified car has been given a shade of satin gold to add to add a touch of imperial magnificence.
Apart from the unusual body colour, visual details also include the Brabus logo replacing the three pointed star on the bonnet. Headlamps have been smoked black with aggressive carbon fibre panels on the bumper and fenders to declare its superiority distinctly even to those with a poor vision. Rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler, too, have been done in the expensive, lightweight carbon mesh material. The silver-grey 10×2 monobloc wheels are of an exotic variety and add distinction to this manic AMG’s exterior.
Under the bonnet, significant changes have been made to lift the power and torque output to a crazy 850 bhp. Torque rating is expected to be a stupefying 1450Nm. This is a significant improvement over the stock figures of 585bhp and 900 Nm from the twin-turbo 5.5 V8 power plant. The wide torque band of 2500-4500 rpm means the deluge of torque will be available almost across the rev band for an overwhelmingly quick in-gear acceleration. All that power would mean a 0-100 acceleration of 3.5 seconds for this luxury limo. The stock electronic speedometer with a top speed of 250km/h has also been upgraded to a 400km/h unit.
Inside the cabin, the new Brabus super-limo gets white leather treatment with gold garnish and stitching everywhere. Like on the exterior, the car has a liberal splattering of carbon-fibre inside the cabin too. The sporty material can be found on the dashboard, steering wheel and most of the consoles. The headliner has been done in black Alcantara leather.
