All About The Upcoming Cars In The month of July

With the power-packed last few months, the auto industry is set to experience some new launches in the month of July too. with new and exciting features the new launching cars will include a few EVs, SUVs and also the sedan. Let’s see what new rides will be entering the Indian market in July

Audi A8 L

This Flagship car of Audi will offer a brand new technology and striking design. The Audi A8 L will be powered by a 3.0L petrol engine paired with a mould-hybrid system and Quattro all-wheel-drive generating 340hp and 500 Nm of torque. The car will be able to go 0-100 in 5.7 seconds. This luxury drive will also have a rear relaxation package with a recliner and foot massager and will provide a wide range of customization to the customers. The interior features will include an optional head-up display with a pair of touchscreens in the center, and an updated infotainment system with its latest MIB 3 software. There are two more screens in the back for the rear-seat entertainment system featuring 10.1-inch displays.

Hyundai Tucson

India bond version of Hyundai Tucson will have some eye-catching design features like innovative half-mirror type daytime running lamps (DRLs)  full-width taillamp incorporating half-hidden triangular shapes, Glass integrated Hyundai logo and a long-wheelbase. The Interior of Tucson will be equipped with three new technologies, including a vertically stacked, dual 10.25-inch full-touch screen exempt from hard buttons, a multi-air ventilation system, and an open, hood-less digital gauge cluster. And the second-row seats will feature fold-and-dive functionality. The power of Tucson will be produced by a Smartstream 2.5-litre, direct-injected, four-cylinder, gasoline powertrain and 1.6-litre, turbo, direct-injected, hybrid, or plug-in hybrid powertrains.

Citroen C3

The Citroen C3 is a perfect combination of hatchback and compact SUV. Citroen has already commenced the bookings for this new car. With 180 mm ground clearance Citroen C3 has been powered by two petrol engines: The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated 3-cylinder unit produces 81hp and 115nm of torque with a 5-speed manual gearbox. And the more powerful 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol produces 109hp and 190nm of torque with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The feature highlights of the Citroen C3 include 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, LED headlamps, manual air-conditioning, steering-mounted audio controls, a digital instrument cluster and best-in-class leg and shoulder room claimed by the company.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara

This upcoming mid-size SUV of Maruti will be replacing the S-Cross. The Vitara will be built on Suzuki’s Global C platform. The wheelbase and dimensions of this car are predicted to be the same as the Toyota Hyryder. Vitara will be equipped with LED headlights with LED DRLs, LED taillamps, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Arkymys sound tuning and 55+ Suzuki Connect connected car, leather seats, a 7-inch MID,  push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, a heads-up display, 360-degree parking camera, a panoramic sunroof, and an auto-dimming IRVM. The Vitara will share the same engine as Hyryder, one is a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid unit delivering 101 Hp and 136 Nm of torque with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. And the other engine is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated Atkinson Cycle engine producing 92 Hp and 122 Nm of torque.

Volvo XC40 Recharge

The Volvo XC40 is ready to launch on the market after a long delay. This EV is based on the XC40 standard. It will have fetures like a 9-inch Android-based infotainment system with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Volvo’s connected car tech, through the ‘Volvo On Call App’, to pre-heat or pre-cool the car remotely and other techs like a digital driver’s display unit, dual-zone automatic climate control, four USB-C ports, a Harman Kardon stereo system, and a panoramic sunroof. This compact SUV will be powered by two electric motors delivering the output of 402hp and  660Nm of peak torque. And to provide the extra space the 78kWh battery pack is placed under the front seats. It will deliver the WLTP range of 418 km.
