Mahindra has formally commenced bookings for the newly launched CNG version of its popular sub-compact SUV, the XUV 3XO, named the XUV 3XO ZNG. Prices start at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the range goes up to Rs 12.27 lakh. Test drives and deliveries have also started, giving buyers another fuel option in the XUV 3XO range.
Badged as the XUV 3XO ZNG, the green SUV spreads across four distinct variants. Under the hood, it retains the punchy 1.2-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine, making it a unique choice in a market full of sluggish, naturally aspirated gas cars. The motor pumps out an identical 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque in both petrol and CNG modes, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Variant-Wise Pricing Breakdown
There is a clean ₹2.28 lakh price gap between the entry-level model and the fully loaded top-spec configuration:
| Variant | Ex-Showroom Price |
| MX Edge | ₹9.99 lakh |
| REVX Edge (O) | ₹10.79 lakh |
| AX5 | ₹11.19 lakh |
| REVX A | ₹12.27 lakh |
Mileage, Range, and Smart Twin-Cylinder Setup
Mahindra claims an impressive ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 24.7 km/kg. To keep the vehicle practical, the SUV utilizes an advanced twin-CNG cylinder setup managed by a high-pressure 10-bar injection system. This compact packaging allows the vehicle to safely house a traditional spare wheel under the trunk floor.

Premium Features and Step-by-Step Booking Process
Depending on the variant you choose, the XUV 3XO ZNG comes packed with premium comfort and safety gear. The equipment list includes a massive panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch digital screens, a 360-degree parking camera, sleek connected LED tail lamps, six standard airbags, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and high-performance disc brakes on all four wheels.
