Spy Shots of the 2023 Tata Safari Revealed!

Tata is facelifting both The Safari and The Harrier and is likely to unveil them at the 2023 Auto Expo next month. The heavily camouflaged 2023 Tata Safari was spotted on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway earlier today.

Overall, a lot of design changes is not seen on the car. Tata has kept the grille and taillight design. A 360-degree camera bump on the ORVM can be seen in the front, hinting at the presence of ADAS, coupled with the radar module.

Despite covering the alloy wheel, Tata appears to have kept the same design. Tata is anticipated to enlarge the infotainment system, and a 12-inch unit was also spotted in the test vehicle. A 12-inch system is ideal for a vehicle like the Safari.

The spy photos also revealed new designs for alloy wheels, bumpers, and headlamps. The manufacturer is also anticipated to revamp the interiors with new upholstery and a larger infotainment system. According to rumours, Tata is also modifying the suspension configuration to improve the vehicle’s off-road capability.

The 2.0-liter diesel engine will remain in the Tata Safari facelift. This engine is ready for the upcoming RDE norms, so that would not be an issue for Tata. The introduction of a gasoline engine, though, might be the most significant alteration. Tata is developing a new 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. Tata is not prioritizing this gasoline engine, and its inclusion in the Safari facelift at launch is uncertain. The petrol engine’s transmission options include a manual and an automated gearbox.
