With the popularity of Mahindra’s newest SUV, the Scorpio-N, more and more customers are lining up outside stores to purchase it. Over 1.5 lakh bookings have already been made for the vehicle by the firm, with the majority falling within the Z2 and Z4 base trim levels. Consequently, the business has added five more versions to provide customers with more choices.

For the Scorpio-N, the automaker has added two gasoline and three diesel options. Its entry-level Z2 model released the Z2 G MT E and Z2 D MT E variations. The mid-range Z4 model debuted the Z4 G MT E, Z4 D MT E, and Z4 D MT 4WD E versions. Z2 G MT E and Z2 D MT E will be priced at Rs. 12.49 lakh and Rs. 12.99, respectively, for these recently released models. The Z4 G MT E, Z4 D MT E, and Z4 D MT 4WD E models have been priced at Rs 13.99 lakh, Rs 14.49 lakh, and Rs 16.94 lakh, respectively. (All ex-showroom prices)
The new Scorpio N Z2 G MT E petrol and Z2 D MT E diesel models now come with Hill Hold Assist and Electronic Stability Control (ESC), two feature enhancements. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill Hold Assist were previously only available on Z4 models equipped with six-speed torque converter automatic transmissions. However, these two features are now also available on petrol and diesel variants equipped with six-speed manual transmissions.

Additional new features for the Z4 variants include a cooled glove box, a middle row air conditioning module, a height-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, cruise control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a second row USB charger, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, etc.
Other than these, no mechanical adjustments have been done. Two engines are offered for the Scorpio-N: a 2 litre mFalcon petrol with 197 bhp-370/380 nm stages of tune and a 2.2 litre mHawk turbo diesel with 130 bhp-300 nm, 172 bhp-370 nm, and 172 bhp-450 nm levels of tune. Both engines can be paired with either a torque converter automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission. The only diesel vehicle with a four-wheel drive transfer case as an option is the top-tier variant. Rear wheel drive is standard on all other trims, including the petrol variants.

Mahindra has crammed the SUV with luxury and safety features in terms of equipment. Multiple driving modes, front, side, and curtain airbags, downhill assistance, a reverse camera, a powered driver’s seat, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, linked car technology, a push start-stop button, and dual-zone automatic climate control are all standard on the Scorpio-N.
A front camera, an SOS button, drowsiness detection for the driver, the choice of captain chairs in the middle row, a 7-inch TFT MID in the instrument panel, a single-pane sunroof, a 12-speaker Sony 3D surround sound system, and numerous more innovations are also included in the Scorpio-N.
