Mercedes-Benz India is gearing up to launch two new AMG’s and the S500 Coupe on the 30th of this month. Now, according to a new report, the German car maker will also be launching the C 450 AMG Sport in the Indian market soon.
The C 450 AMG Sport, will be poitioned between the CLA 45 AMG which is the entry-level AMG car in India, and the next-gen Mercedes-AMG C63, which will be the top-of-the-line C-class AMG.
Powering the C 450 AMG Sport is a 362bhp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 petrol motor which pumps out 520 Nm of twist. All those 362 horses are channeled to all the wheels via the AMG-tweaked 4Matic four-wheel drive system, while transmission duties are handled by the 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic gearbox. Braking duties are handled by 360mm front and 320mm rear ventilated steel discs.
In terms of styling, the C 450 AMG Sport gets a tweaked front bumper with a new grille, dark housings for wing mirrors, a boot-lip spoiler and darkened exhausts. The Mercedes C 450 AMG Sport is expected to be priced around INR 1 crore when it goes on sale in India.
