Tata Motors launched its sub-4 meter compact sedan, the Zest at a price tag of Rs 4.64 lakh for the base petrol variant and Rs 5.64 lakh for the base diesel variant. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron unit that churns out 88 bhp (90 PS) of power and 140Nm of torque. The diesel engine on the other hand is a Fiat sourced 1.3-litre Quadrajet unit which also produces 88 bhp (90 PS) of power but has a healthier torque figure of 200Nm.
