We have always felt that the TVS Wego is among the most well sorted out automatic scooters currently on sale in India. Now, in a move that further enhances the appeal of the Wego, TVS motors has quietly slipped in a disc brake variant of its scoot.
The front disc brake equipped variant of the Wego scooter goes on sale for a price of INR 49,157. The drum brake variant of the Wego has a sticker price of INR 45,807. (All prices are ex-showroom Delhi ). This makes the front disc brake equipped Wego pricier than the drum brake variant by almost INR 3,300. With the inclusion of a front disc brake variant, the Wego becomes the second offering in its segment to get an option of a front disc brake. The only other scooter to offer this option is the Aviator from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India ltd.
The Wego is comes with front telescopic forks and a 110cc four stroke engine that has a max power output of 8Bhp and a peak torque figure of 8Nm.
The TVS Wego is quite a peppy performer and is quick with changing directions. The automatic scooter has an all metal body and an external fuel filling cap
