Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) the Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer launched the Toyota Innova Crysta petrol with a price tag starting at INR 13.72 lakh for the base Gx trim and INR 19.62 lakh for the top end Zx trim . The model will be powered by a new 2.7 litre Dual VVT-I petrol motor. Bookings as well as deliveries of the petrol powered MPV begin with immediate effect.

The 2.7 litre petrol engine will develop a power output of 166 PS while the peak torque is rated at 245 Nm. Transmission duties will be taken care of by a five speed manual transmission as standard while a six speed automatic transmission will be available as an option. The petrol powered Innova Crysta returns an ARAI certified fuel economy of 10.83 kmpl for the automatic transmission and 9.89 kmpl for the manual transmission.
A few of the features on the Innova Crysta petrol include Eco&Power mode, cruise control, automatic LED projector headlamps, 16 inch and 17 inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable ORVM with chrome finish, start-stop button, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, 8 way power adjustable driver seat, leather wrapped multi-function steering wheel, a 4.2 inch TFT MID, a rear view camera and an all window auto -up down with jam protection.

Basic safety features across the model range include 3 airbags (Driver, front passenger and Driver Knee), ABS with EBD, height adjustable front seat belt with Pre Tensioner & Force Limiter (PT/FL) and Brake assist. Other safety features include a total of 7 airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Assist Control (HSC) and impact sensing door unlock with secondary battery. The model will be available in the following colour options: Garnet Red, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Avant-garde Bronze.
