The Motor Sport Adventures Association (M.S.A.A) in Jaipur has launched a ‘Training Academy’ for all potential rally and race drivers to learn, improvise or simply get introduced to the fabulous sport of four- wheeler racing in a controlled and a safe environment.
The training will be conducted by Mr. Sanjeev Sankhla, President of M.S.A.A, who is India’s one of the most experienced racer. Mr. Shankhla was trained at Honda Racing Corp. of Japan by Mr. E. Karasawa and since then have won a number of races in domestic and international race events.
“We will be taking potential rally drivers and teaching them not only driving techniques but everything else there is to know about rallying, from signing-on, passing the scrutiny test, basic maintenance and navigation pace-notes.” Mr. Sankhla said.
“The student skill levels are always mixed and therefore we make sure each one of our students learns at their own pace and most importantly has a good time doing so. The Motor Sport Adventure Rally Academy at Jaipur will prove to be a key in recognizing and developing India’s rally stars of the future.”
The training duration will be of two days to be held on 28th and 29th of August, 2010. Reporting time to the venue is 1700 hours. Applicable fees is Rs. 8500 inclusive of two days training, accommodation and meals. All participants will be trained in their own vehicles. Four people can share one vehicle. The participants will have to bring their own helmets and gloves.
