Mobil 1 has joined hands with the 13th Edition of Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm as the official lubricant partner for the ‘motoring rally’ that began on February 23, 2015 in New Delhi and concluded on March 1 in Jaipur. This year, Maruti Suzuki has decided to include a night stage of 150 kilometres.
The participants were grouped into three categories – Moto Quad, NDure XPlore and Xtreme. More than 100 riders took part in this year’s rally, including 20 female drivers. The rally covered a total distance of 2,300 kilometres starting from the capital to the culturally rich state of Rajasthan.
Mobil has been partner with the leading automakers and race teams and Ravi Sundar, General Manager Marketing- ExxonMobil said that the company is excited with opportunities of this kind that will take Motorsports to a different level in India and support the spirit of motorsports and looks forward to many more such partnerships in the future.
