Speculations have been aplenty that the KTM RC 390 India launch is around the corner and while the Indian subsidiary of the Austrian bike maker has so far refrained from announcing the KTM RC 390 India launch date, several KTM RC 390 spy images that have surfaced recently make us believe that the bike’s launch is around the corner.

Essentially a faired and sportier variant of the 390 Duke, the RC 390 sports a full front fairing and sportier ergonomics. The KTM RC 390 would have a max power of 43 hp and the bike would have a dry weight of 147 kgs. This means that the upcoming bike would boast of a segment leading power to weight ratio in India.

It is highly likely that the 390 Duke would have a stiffer suspension to aid handling and enable the bike to have slightly better track manners. Thanks to local manufacturing and high parts sharing with the 390 Duke, the RC 390 is likely to be launched with a competitive price tag. KTM RC 390 price in India could be pegged around INR 2.20 lakhs.
