World over, car manufacturers are working hard on coming up with more efficient yet faster vehicles. Now, South Korean auto manufacturer, Hyundai officially confirms that it is busy developing an all new and efficient 10 speed automatic transmission. However, Hyundai chose to keep tight lipped on the launch date of this transmission. Hyundai and Kia are jointly working on this upcoming transmission and we won’t be surprised to see the 10 speed tranny finding its way into a Kia car.
Now, we expect to find this transmission in the 2014 Genesis coupe. If the 10 speed automatic transmission makes it to the Genesis sedan, which currently offers an 8 speed tranny, expect it to extract more performance while increasing the fuel efficiency of the car. Jack of all trades anyone?
