The Hyundai Grand i10 X compact crossover has been launched in Indonesia, and has been priced at 155.5 million Rupiah, or approximately INR 7.5 lakh. In essence, the X is a jacked up Grand i10 with a few outdoorsy exterior embellishments, following the i20 Active’s philosophy.
Ground clearance has been increased by 0.5 inches, while the Grand i10 X “combines the character of the city car and SUV” with front and rear skid plates, lower body cladding all around, fog lamps with LED DRLs, an optional roof rack, a roof spoiler, as well as a “sporty” muffler tip.
The Grand i10 X rides on 14 inch alloy wheels, painted in dark grey, and is available with a choice of four exterior colors which include Golden Orange, Sleek Silver, Passion Red and Pure White. The insides benefit from a leather wrapped steering wheel, and a 4-speaker, 2 DIN music system with CD, USB, MP3 compatibility.
Under the hood resides a 1.25L Kappa D-CVVT petrol engine which generates a hefty 82 HP at 6,000 rpm and 119 Nm of torque. Price wise, the Grand i10 X is sandwiched between the GL and GLS trims in Indonesia.
