It really hasn’t been much long since Honda gave us the new-gen Honda Civic, which didn’t quite look all that new-gen to be very honest. The new car hasn’t even made it to India yet, and the Japanese carmaker has already come up with a facelift. You heard it right, the lukewarm response to the car’s exterior styling made Honda get proactive and restyle the car in an early stage of its life.

Honda has showcased the 2013 Honda Civic at the LA Auto Show 2012 and here are some official pics of the new car. The car sports a new front fascia and rear end styling. On the inside, the car becomes more luxurious and feature laden.

The facelift is surely a far cry from the boring styling of the outgoing model. The Japanese car maker played too safe with the styling of 2012 Honda Civic, a tad too safe for its own good. The refreshed car however, has to be a study in how to improve a boring and low key design and comes across as an aesthetically pleasing design.

The 2013 Honda Civic comes equipped with Pandora Interface, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, steering wheel audio controls, SMS text message feature and rearview camera among other controls.
