Valvoline Launches 4th Edition of Mechanics’ Month

Valvoline Cummins Private Limited, a global leader in engine oil manufacturing, has kicked off the 4th edition of its Mechanics’ Month campaign.

This year’s theme, ‘Mechanics Make the World Better,’ reflects a commitment to honoring and expressing gratitude for the tireless efforts of mechanics worldwide.

A Global Tribute

Launched simultaneously globally and in India on March 11, 2024, the campaign aims to shed light on the significant contribution of mechanics in ensuring the efficient operation of engines and vehicles.

Valvoline dedicates the entire month of March, along with ongoing efforts throughout the year, to celebrate and empower mechanics who play a crucial role in enhancing our daily lives.

Recognizing Mechanics’ Role

The focus of this initiative is to highlight how mechanics, often working in demanding situations and unconventional hours, stand as the unsung heroes behind the smooth operation of every vehicle.

They form the backbone of the automotive industry, ensuring vehicles maintain optimal performance levels.

Valvoline encourages individuals to actively participate in this month-long celebration by expressing gratitude to their trusted mechanics.

The campaign employs various mass media platforms, including radio, digital channels, and on-ground activities, to raise awareness about the invaluable contributions of mechanics and inspire people to convey heartfelt messages to their local mechanics.

Valvoline’s Commitment

As part of its ongoing Muskaan Scholarship program, Valvoline extends educational support to children of truck drivers, mechanics, and underserved communities. The scholarship program, catering to students from 9th to 12th grade, aims to facilitate their academic pursuits.

Scholarship recipients receive mentorship from company employees, fostering guidance beyond academic realms. To date, the scholarship has benefitted 3500+ children, with plans for further expansion.
