India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. presented the revamped, feature-packed, 2023 lineup of its 125 CC scooter range featuring the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid.
The E20 fuel-compliant engine gives the same distinguishing Yamaha performance with noticeably lower emissions on the 2023 model of Yamaha’s 125 cc Hybrid scooter line. Moreover, the new engine complies with OBD2 standards. It helps track data crucial to the engine’s health and performance in real-time, which further helps elevate the user’s experience and lower the amount of pollution created by the scooters.
The complete 125 cc Hybrid scooter series is now powered by Yamaha’s groundbreaking Bluetooth Enabled Y-Connect App (factory-fitted) (factory-fitted) The Yamaha Y-Connect App, which establishes new benchmarks for two-wheelers, offers a number of useful features, such as Fuel Usage Tracker, Maintenance Suggestions, Last Parking Location, Malfunction Notification, Revs Dashboard, Rider Ranking, and more.
Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid
The Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid will be offered in two new eye-catching colours: Matte Black & Light Grey Vermillion. The disc variation of the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid & Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid models will now be available in the all-new Dark Matt Blue colour. Also, the disc and drum model of the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid receives sporty and fashionable graphics in its current hues of Cyan Blue, Metallic Black, and Matt Red.
The BS-VI OBD2 & E-20 fuel compliant, air-cooled, fuel injected (FI), 125 cc blue core engine powering Yamaha’s new 2023, 125 cc Hybrid scooter lineup generates 8.2 PS at 6,500 RPM and 10.3 N.M. at 5,000 RPM. Its 125 Fi Hybrid engine embodies Yamaha’s global research and development efforts, which are aimed at enhancing performance in every facet of two-wheeler riding. This hybrid engine incorporates a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) Technology that has been specifically designed to enhance the scooter’s riding experience.
Yamaha’s Hybrid Technology
Based on Yamaha’s genuine hybrid technology, the Intelligent Power Assist feature gives the SMG system, which also serves as an electric motor, an extra boost. This increases the rider’s linear power when they accelerate from a stop, reducing wobbling on uphill climbs or during tandem starts, which encourages more assured riding. The “Automatic Stop & Start system,” which prevents engine idling and starts with a single throttle twist, and the in-built Side stand engine cut-off switch for enhanced safety, remain standard features of the 125 Fi Hybrid engine.
