TVS Motors is one of the renowned 2-wheeler manufacturers in the world. However, the TVS is joining the increasing number of manufacturers for revision of the prices of electric vehicles.
Price revision of TVS iQube
TVS is on the verge of complying with the newly revised FAME-2 policies by the Govt. of India. As a result, the 2-wheeler maker will revise the prices of its iQube electric scooter. However, the manufacturer has not revealed the exact price hike of its iQube electric scooter. Yet it is expected that the iQube range will be dearer by Rs 17,000 – Rs 22,000 depending upon the variant.
TVS has designed the iQube electric scooter with 3 principles: Power of choice, Peace of Mind and Simplicity of Operating. The Power of choice means that customers can choose from numerous variants depending on range, power, colour etc. The Peace of Mind means that the brand ensures maximum security and safety of the electric scooter owners. And the Simplicity of Operating means that the scooter can be operated with easy controls and manoeuvrability.

In May 2023, TVS iQube crossed 20,000 units of retail and continues to have a healthy booking pipeline of over 30,000 units.”
He added, “FAME II will gradually reduce over the next few quarters. TVS Motor will continue to deliver delightful product options and great value propositions to propel the electrification and green energy penetration in two-wheelers in the country. In line with TVS Motor’s commitment to being customer-centric, the company will offer a loyalty benefits programme for the customers of TVS iQube who have made bookings till May 20, 2023, for a limited period to ease the cost burden post the revision in FAME II subsidy. Additionally, new customers can also avail new prices without having to bear the full burden of FAME II revision on booking the vehicle starting June 1, 2023.”
