TVS Motor has announced a milestone of 15% increased sales in August 2022. In August 2021, the brand sold 274,313 units of two-wheeler which impressively hiked to 315,539 units in August 2022. The company has revealed domestic and international sales reports for August 2022.

Furthermore, Domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 33% where 179,999 units were sold throughout the country in August 2021 which increases to 239,325 units in August 2022. In the two-wheeler segment Motorcycle of TVS accounted for a growth of 17% from 133,789 units in August 2021 to 157,118 units in August 2022. Scooters sold in August 2021 were 87,059 units which reached 121,866 units this year with a hike of 40% sales.

With successful domestic sales, the international market of TVS has shown a decline. This year’s August reached 93,111 units whereas last year it was 109,927 units in August 2021. With a decline in Two-wheeler exports, Two-wheeler exports registered sales of 76,214 units in August 2022 compared to last year’s 94,314 units. Like two-wheeler sales, TVS has also experienced growth in Three-wheelers which jumped from 16,381 units to 18,248 units in August 2022 with an increase of 11%. The newly introduced E-scooter TVS iQube is also going strong. 649 units of TVS iQube were sold in August 2021 which increased to 4,418 units in August 2022

The company has also mentioned that the availability of chips is improving the chain and they will be able to match the demand of the festive season. Although in the international market the company is facing a decline as per the company, they will get back. For its future plans, TVS also has invested in DriveX with an aim to bring innovative solutions to offer in the pre-owned multi-brand two-wheeler space in India.
