Triumph has recently launched the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400-X with the Speed 400 priced at Rs. 2.33 Lakhs Ex-showroom. After the launch, both the motorcycles including Speed 400 and Scrambler 400-X clocked 10,000 bookings in 10 days. Moreover, the bike manufacturer has announced that they will increase the scale of production of these bikes.

Demand and bookings of Triumph 400 twins
Recently, Triumph launched the Speed 400 in India with a price tag of Rs. 2.33 Lakhs Ex-showroom. The manufacturer has also commenced the bookings for Scrambler 400-X as well. After a few days of launch, the Speed 400 has gained a whopping 10,000 bookings in India. Moreover, Triumph has partnered with Bajaj Auto with the aim of increasing production of the motorcycles.
Initially, Triumph launched the Speed 400 in India at Rs. 2.23 Lakhs Ex-showroom for its first 10,000 customers. But now, the pricing of the motorcycle is hiked to Rs. 2.33 Lakhs Ex-showroom. We can expect that the motorcycle will arrive at the showrooms by the end of July, while Scrambler 400-X will arrive by October.

About Triumph 400 twins
The design of the Triumph Speed and Scrambler 400-X motorcycles is inspired by the higher models of its line-up. However, the design language of the Speed 400 is loaded with sporty modern attire but the Scrambler 400-X gets an upright stance. The Speed 400 gets the large Chrome Exhaust, twin 5-spokes alike pattern of alloys, and a rear grab rail. But the Scrambler 400-X gets a different twin-shape exhaust muffler, multi-spoke alloys, and a slimmer fuel tank.
Both the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400-X will be powered by the 398cc, TR-series, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The engine is tuned to churn out 40hp of power output at 8,000rpm and 37.5nm of torque output at 6,500rpm. However, this engine is coupled with a 6-Speed Manual Transmission. The Speed 400 gets 17-inch wheels at both ends but the Scrambler 400-X gets 19-inch wheels at front and 17-inch at rear.
