Hot on the heels of the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari Jet editions, Tata has launched the Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max Jet Editions at ₹17.50 lakh and ₹19.54 lakh respectively. The Nexon EV Prime and EV Max Jet Editions are based on the top-end XZ+ Lux trim. Unlike the other Jet Edition SUVs, the changes to both the models are only cosmetic and there are no changes to the feature list.

This edition comes exclusively in the Bronze shade with a Platinum Silver roof. It also adds Jet Black alloy wheels and silver skid plates for the front and rear. Other changes include #Jet badging on the front fenders and silver inserts for the fog lamp surrounds and the tri-arrow patterns on the front bumper. The EV logo on the grille has been blacked out as well. The interior gets a dual-tone Oyster White & Granite black theme. There’s a techno-steel bronze finish on the mid-pad and the front headrests get #JET embroidery with deco stitching on the seats.

Other than this, both cars are similar to the standard variants. The Tata Nexon EV Prime comes equipped with a 30.2 kWh battery that powers the electric motor, which is capable of producing 126bhp of maximum power and 245Nm of peak torque. This electric motor helps the Nexon, to achieve 0-100 km/h in just 9.9 seconds. Lastly, the Nexon EV also comes with an ARAI-certified full-charge range of up to 312 kilometers. With a standard 15A, AC charger, it will take up to 8 hours to charge the battery from 20% to 100%. The Nexon EV Max gets a 40.5kWh battery pack which is around 10kWh more than the standard Nexon EV.

With the larger battery pack, it gets an ARAI-claimed range of 437km. The Nexon EV Max also gets a more powerful motor that produces 143hp and 250nm of torque. As a result, it can achieve 0-100km/h in 9 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 140km/h. The Nexon EV Max is offered with a 3.3kW charger as standard and a 7.2kW AC fast charger as an option.
